Founded in the spring of 2012, the Partnership is a diverse conservation funding program that includes major corporations, small businesses and individuals.  Donors designate which county or counties they would like to put their donation to work in. Partners can also choose a specific project to be involved with.

Using these donations, Headwaters administers a regional conservation grant program. Donors receive public credit for ALL projects approved within their designated counties for a period of one year after their donation. Donors will be recognized in all publicity that occurs during the life of the project, utilizing a variety of public media. In addition, all donors of $100 or more will be listed on the program website and receive a quarterly newsletter.  

HCP provides a welcome source of local funds that can be used to complete small to medium sized projects, or be used as local match for larger ones such as DEP Growing Greener projects.
